Local-data architecture
DisciplineRR does not upload trade records, journal notes, imported CSV data, or locally attached screenshots to DisciplineRR-operated servers during normal application use. Your journal is stored locally on your computer.
Internet access may be required for checkout, downloading the installer, license activation, update checks, and support communications.
Supported import approach
DisciplineRR imports trade history from broker and platform CSV exports using custom field mapping. It does not connect to your broker and does not require brokerage login credentials.
Backup & export
Create JSON backups of your trades, account, and plans, and restore them after reinstalling or moving computers. Trade history can also be exported to CSV for spreadsheet-friendly review. Back up regularly — you are responsible for your local data.
